檸檬草，學名：Cymbopogon citratus，又名檸檬香茅，全草均可使用，鮮草或乾燥的植株葉片與莖稈均具有濃郁的檸檬香氣。
傳統或民俗醫療應用上香茅草被認為具有袪風及驅蟲作用。中草藥的歸類上，將其性味功能歸為辛、溫。作用為祛風除濕，消腫止痛。在相關的研究報告指出檸檬香茅精油具有鎮靜及抗微生物作用。
茶時局所製作的｢檸檬草窨薰茶｣，使用台灣有機栽種檸檬草，與海拔 1600 公尺杉林溪高冷茶做結合。其茶湯口感帶有一股別的檸檬甜香氣，與高冷茶的山頭氣混和，結合出一股處於山林裡的芬多精感。
